Winners for Challenge #145: Jaydee's Colors

Hello stampers! Jaydee here to extend a big thank you to everyone who joined us this past week for our color challenges. You really made it hard for me to choose a winner as so many of you really rocked this bright, regal color scheme.  

Before we get to my selection for our Headliner, let's have a look at the Design Team's selections for A Cut Above.

And the Design Team's selections for A Cut Above are....

1. Nance’s choice: All the gorgeous white space of Kristie’s one-layer-wonder really let these bold colors shine! Love her clever take on the sketch too…congrats, Kristie!	2. Anne Marie's Choice: All I can say about Julie's card is WOW! I love how the colors pop and the fabulous mix of textures she added. Just beautiful! Congrats, Julie!	3. Ann's Choice: Wow! Nerida's 3D butterfly just flies right off the screen! Her thumping method was perfect for coloring this winged beauty, while her background is stellar! Congrats, Nerida
4. Amy's Choice: Joyce's CAS card has fun texture and I love all of the white space on her card. The rich colors of the pencils really pop on the white background. Congrats, Joyce!	5. Justin's Choice: I love the the simplicity and clean lines of Rach's card! Congratulations Rach on being my choice for Cut Above!	6. Brian's Choice: These three colors work perfectly with Debbie's Decorate a Daisy design. Looks like it's pulled right out of a Disney movie! Congratulations, Debbie!
7. Sandy's Choice: I loved the heart shaped cut outs in the doily JoAnn used, and how she used them next to the sentiment. This card would make me feel better! Congrats, JoAnn!	8. LeAnne's Choice: Shana's sweet simple design is just divine! Congrats on being my Cut Above!

I love that Mary featured my favorite fall set and showed me that I should really use it other times of the year, too.  I loved the creative overlay placement of the leaves with the little Raspberry flowers with the wonderful pearl middles.  I also loved the layered label and the textured background.  A really gorgeous card.  Congratulations, Mary on being my headliner this week.

What a fabulous collection of entries we had this week for our sketch! From whimsical to elegant, and everything in between, you rose to the challenge!

1. Jaydee's Choice: I immediately fell in love with Harriet's Clean and stunning card. The embossed panel anchors those fabulous coral butterflies and the bling is the perfect finishing touch. Congrat	2. LeAnne's Choice: Rachel's little boy card was so cute...a nice departure from the norm, especially since it used retiring sets! Congrats, Rachel!	3. Amy's Choice: I love the way Linda has arranged the baseball themed elements on her card, and her color scheme is perfect for a boy's birthday. You've hit a homerun, Linda!
4. Brian's Choice: I'm in love with Amy's delightful graduation owl! With texure, lots of patterns and colors, she still makes a beautifully clean greeting. Congrats, Amy!	5. Sandy's Choice: I loved everything about Gina's card: the great mix of patterns, beautiful color combo, expertly colored images and the amazing sentiment. A stunning creation. Congrats, Gina!	6. Justin's Choice: The color combination and masculine feel of Diana's card is fantastic. Congratulations Diana on being my choice for a Cut Above!
7. Nance's choice: All the texture & dimension on Jenny's card really caught my eye. Love the rolled flowers & the balance of great colors--FAB card, congrats Jenny!	8. Anne Marie's Choice: Sandra's card has such a wonderful mix of patterns and textures. I just love the soft color combo, too. So pretty! Congratulations, Sandra!

Papier Girl

I am always a pushover for a cute dog image, and it doesn't get any cuter than this!  Cathy did a wonderful job coloring "Boy's Best Friend" and his human companion, and then popping them up over a paper-pieced pond.  I love her choice of coordinating papers.  The button mounted on the star is the perfect touch, while the stitching is a testament to Cathy's attention to detail.  Congratulations, Cathy, on being my choice for Headliner this week!
